Our teacher assistants are trained, mature adults, carefully chosen for their empathy and kindness and trained by us in the skills of caring for young children. Their one objective is to help each teacher bring out the best in your child.

My name is Miranda Belles and I am the Director and Head Teacher at Foundations For Learning. I recently graduated from the University of Hartford with my master’s degree in Early Childhood and Special Education with certification. I also have my Connecticut Head Teacher certificate for infants through school age children.
The best parts about working in early childhood are: watching them accomplish their goals, listening to them tell stories about their experiences, and working closely with them as they explore the world around them. My favorite thing about working at Foundations For Learning is that I get to work cooperatively with an amazing staff and a wonderful group of parents.
